Scott Kolb, Owner
Scott grew up at a Golf Club. In his golf career, he has worked in about every aspect of the golf business. His career began at Victoria Golf Club as a teenager working in the Clubhouse and Backshop, where he joined the PGA of Canada in 1992.
In 1998 he ventured to the Okanagan and worked at GolfBC's Gallagher's Canyon Managing the Golf Shop and Inventory and creating a Golf Academy. In 2003, GolfBC transferred Scott to Arbutus Ridge as their Manager of Operations. There he created the GBC Academy now used at 7 different GolfBC facilities with more than 20 different instructors.
In 2006, he went back to his roots and became the Head Professional of Intrawest's Raven at Lora Bay and opened the course and clubhouse on July 1, 2006. Later that year, Scott came full circle and was introduced as General Manager of the prestigious and private, Victoria Golf Club. For more than 25 years, Scott has been responsible for overseeing all departments of the Golf Operations, hosted and executed National and Provincial Tournaments including the very successful, 600+ participant, Vegas Baby Invitational. Victoria Golf Club has recently been voted as "Facility of the Year" from the PGA of BC. With Scott as Golf Shop Manager, the facility was recognized as "Merchandiser of the Year" by the PGA of Canada and has won numerous website accolades including "Bob Weeks Favorite Course of the Year in 2009." In 2017 his course was named by Canadian Society of Club Managers as the 2017 Club of the year.
In early 2022, Scott put his full time focus in developing Fresh Golf Solutions and its Search & Recruitment services.
